After many years here, my current membership is about to expire. After reading Claudia's blog, I begin to question what I am doing here?! No, physical or mental perfection was never the goal but I did expect to meet more suitable men (I have made a lot of offline friends both male and female) but is anyone really getting connected? Fess up people if you have made a successful connection with the opposite sex..................I love happy stories!

People where are you? I hate going into the LiveChat echo chamber and talking to myself! I do not particularly like adding a comment onto a 3-year old forum post where the author has never followed up (could this have been just a specific vent?). While Blogs are more productive as far as responses go, I would invite disappointed LiveChat contributors to let people know here when they are going online so that interested parties can check you out (if they want to do that first) and then let you know at what times t hey chat.

I checked out my matches today and it seems I am far too old for any of the men I have been matched with. It is that darn number - the one that consigns you to the basement because you are either too old or past it. Wow my mom forgot to tell me there was a best before date because I feel better now than I have for 20 years. So like I told the young man in my life (36), honey you had better keep up with me LOL

After maybe 6 years hanging around this site, I finally checked out the forum. Well people who blog, the forum is a catacomb of buried posts and unanswered replies scattered across many years. To answer my own question, those who blog check in more frequently and actually bother to reply; subjects are the same and many contributors too but no one seems to go back after they post on the Forum. One up for Blogs

Nope it is not about condoms. Check and trace the IP of any online email you get and you will soon determine the listed scammers/reported scammers should you ever be in doubt. And yes, ask all new love interests to send an email so you can do this at the start...And, just in case they are computer savvy and can obscure the IP or put it into a loopback, just trace it. I found several originated from listed scammer locales e.g. spambag,blackholes, blacklist etc). So really be safe!!

And with those words he asked me to call him providing "his" number. EXCEPT is was not him and we had never chatted before. A new scam with expensive consequences if you fall for it so beware.
This was the experience of a friend here and I wanted it posted (hope you do not mind friend)
