Now I’m in my 30s.
When I look back on my 20s, I know I’ve become wiser and more mature now. Therefore, personally, I would say age isn’t just a number; it’s an indicator of wisdom.
Why I’m Attracted to Older Men:
Frankly, many young men in their 30s around me are great – they are energetic and fun. Those are good qualities. Yet deep down I find older men much more attractive because they teach me things, they are more sophisticated, they have a lot to offer…. I enjoy dating someone who can have intelligent conversations with me, someone who has a profound understanding of how this world works.
That’s why I prefer age gap dating – this lifestyle suits me very well.
My Age Gap Dating Life:
Currently, I’m dating someone who is 15 years older than me. Because he looks after himself very well, he looks younger than his chronological age. Research shows that there is a difference between biological age and chronological age: If you take care of yourself physically, mentally and emotionally, your biological age can be significantly younger than your chronological age. I know this is true because I have had first-hand experience –
Six years ago, I had a highly stressful job and wasn’t sleeping well at night. Although I was only 31 years old at that time, my eye lids were falling down. Since I met my current partner, he has taught me so many useful tips in terms of how to improve my health and vitality as he is a medical doctor. Hence, I’ve been using the right eye cream, eating wholesome food, going to bed early and doing enough exercise every day. Now compared to my photos taken in 2015, I look much younger right now.
What’s more, because I’m not dating young men who only like going to pubs at night, I have a structured lifestyle. My partner and I have established a book club where two people read the same book and discuss what we’ve learned from the book each week. My love life is extremely satisfying, enlightening and rewarding as a result. ✨
I am so in love with this smart, worldly and interesting man.
Age Gap Dating: it’s not just about dating; it’s also about growth.
Life is short, but a toxic relationship is long as hell. In contrast, a good relationship makes life meaningful, enjoyable and exciting.
For a very long time, I was searching for happiness because I thought life must be about happiness. But my partner told me something eye-opening: “Life isn’t really about happiness. In fact, life is about growth. Anything that isn’t growing is dying.”
Indeed, being in a relationship with him keeps me growing. A few years ago, I struggled with mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression; nevertheless, now I’ve grown out of those issues, thanks to a healthy relationship.
I remember a world-renowned psychologist famously said, “I’ve never seen a person who has a good romantic relationship and positive friendships go to see a psychologist. Most people who need therapy are not in the right relationships. Every mental health problem has something to do with interpersonal relationships.”
Apparently, age gap dating has contributed to my life tremendously, and I’m eternally grateful.
