Just wondering if anyone has any good Book or Movie suggestions, I thought I would put this Blog up just for a change of subject. Especially as there has been two professional writers that have posted on a couple of my Blogs.                    Maybe they could tell us about what they have written. Or if anyone has a favorite, Please post a comment.

Hello LTB, I was glad to hear  you had such a great time in England.  I keep threatening to visit but something (work) always gets in the way LOL.

LTB i responded a while back and although you and many other members appear to be online, I have had no response for weeks.  Do you just keep your computers on or do you actually check in here from time to time?  I just hate talking to thin air

Try a documentary experience like Burtynsky's Manufactured Landscape (you can watch on the computer) and as to books, there are just far too many to express.  I would say LTB that considering your wide range of likes, have you read the Games of Thrones series?  That would definitely keep you busy for awhile :)

I like Adventure, Biographies, Maybe unusual Romance stories, WW2 stories. Mysteries. I also liked Angela's Ashes it was sad but also funny, so my taste is quite vast, I liked all the Godfather Movies and The Sopranos, So I am not completly opposed to violence, but in films the Actors have to come accross as  having some redeeming features. I liked Boardwalk Empire too. Many years ago I stayed in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's old house (Author of the Sherlock Holmes Stories) a friend of mine's Father had bought it and turned it into a Hotel (Undershaw Hotel in Guilford UK)  there was alot of phenonama going on there, (Sir Arthur was a Spiritualist) I have no idea if it still is a Hotel.                               Good luck with the Screen Plays, its always good to be versatile. and I hope you find your Young Love :-)

My published writing has thus far all been in the fiction category, and in the horror/sci-fi/fantasy/pulp fiction genres, but as is frequent with such genres I often attempt to insert a lot of political and sociological commentary in my stories. I have recently made a few attempts to try something different and get into the romance genre because it sells so well, but my only accepted submission in that area so far is an anthology that combines romance elements with horror elements. I am now studying screenwriting as well.

Before I could give you relevant book or movie recommendations, I would need to know what your favored genres were, and if there are any genres or mediums that you tend to avoid.
