I think some older women like younger guys for many of the reasons that were posted above by other members. For me personally, I was attracted to my sweetlove because of his level of maturity about morals, values and other things that are important to me, the fact that he wasn't the type of man that uses pornography or ogles at other women, that he has such compassion and understanding for people in general, his positive outlook on life, the way he actually shows his love for me and not just says it...and his overall sweetness, kindness and gentleness that emanates from his physical being as well as the words he would write to me in e-mail and say to me over the phone.

Every older woman has her own reasons as to why she is into younger guys. The question that begs to be asked now is: Why are younger guys into older women? :)

Some things have to be believed to be seen...~

First of all, what range do you define as middle-aged?  some of us are tied to guys around 20 years younger than ourselves and that follows throughout our lives.  Next, I do not like younger and younger men although those are the ones that generally write to me.  I currently prefer men in their 40's and up but not so up as to be my age.  Finally, one woman's idea of an ideal age is not anothers; it depends upon your age and preference.  Truth is that very young guys rarely stay for long with much older women so I guess each person has to adjust to find the right fit age-wise, no hard and fast rules.

Well my family and friends ask me this question all the time. Why don't you date someone more your AGE? What on earth do you find appealing about these young men. What i wrote is truely the Truth.. Guess thats why only the young men on here will wink at me.. The older ones are afraid I might turn them out or something. They can't live up to my expectations. I really don't even need the aid of a dating site. I just thought I might meet someone who is a little different from my stero type, but the stero is still playing the song.

22-25 is a little low for moi... I have dated a man 15 years younger than me because the ones my age just absolutely peter out. are very boring. all they want to do is watch tv and sleep in their chair. drink beer and brag. these young men want to go places. do things. play cards. hang out with friends. play pool. make mad love. and appreciate all the lovely things you do for them, and they tell you constantly that your this or that. and its nice to hear that sometimes. old men get stuck in their old routines and they do try. I have found a few that have not fell into my stereo type of oldness. But thats my take on why do women do this? if you want this to change then change yourself first... the rest will follow...

I used to like that age range when I was in my 30s but as I have got older so my taste in men is from around 40s-50s as I have more in common plus more chemistry with them, Men in their twentys are cute. but they are not always sure what they want yet. :)

When you make a statement like that, your are generalizing...not all middle aged mature women like younger men within the above stated age range...I for one have a son who is 23 in the US Navy...to even consider the possibility of getting into a relationship with someone his age, would be unthinkable...but depending on the people who are involved it can/does happed more often than not. This is the world we live in...10/20 years ago this would be considered taboo...but not any longer, 50 is the new 30, and with the younger men 20 can be the new 30, it just depends on your perception..I guess. and to coin a phrase, don't knock it if you haven't tried it...enough said!
