You see, it doesn't work...... I am going to make nice here. In fact, I am actually going to contribute to the discussion of intergenerational relationships. Now older women and younger men absolutely makes sense from a developmental perspective. Both have reached peaks in varying areas which complement each other. There is the issue of childbearing which makes permanence difficult. How do couple get around that?

VDS, GRRRRR! LOL You could be onto something there....we may be more alike than we think. If you are versed in Astrology, I'm also an air sign, Gemini, and my moon is in Aquarius. Lot of similarities, it would seem. :-) As for the blog, I don't know either. I'm glad you're blocking though cause there is a real problem with that member as far as I can see. Larissa, Horsie, eh? These are all very strong characters in that belief system. Tiger, Horse, Dragon being some of the most fiery and agressive so could be a partial explanation why we've all been head butting and being buttheads..lol. Pardon the pun..:-) As for animal rescue, thanks! I love all animals and am a passionate advocate of child, animal and environmental welfare. My furred, feathered and hooved "babies" are very important to me. I also love helping kids have a better appreciation for animals and nature. Seems to help them grow into more caring and sensitive adults. Have A Wonderful Day All! I'm off to tear up my carpet. LOL...had flood damage. Peace, Dreamer

Hi HTD I don't think that anyone who does animal rescue and is willing to haul their horsie cross country could be selfish...Oh! I'm Spanish, but am educated here, France and Germany...All fascists.. ha ha! I have no young uns...never got married...I WAS A SISTER, REMEMBER? I don't believe in any astrology (Biblically forbidden), but for the record, you'll love this, I was born in the year of the horse...neigh.....

Hi V, I did respond to your request for a truce and had accepted gladly, however, it appears HPD took the blog down. So, yes, TRUCE! Also, I tried to respond to your blog, RE: Agematch members and it appears that i'm blocked for some reason. I show no reply or add comment link when I go into the blog. A glitch maybe? Peace, Dreamer

Hi Mary, That's a great idea. Adoption is a wonderful alternative and for some a great solution, however, at almost 57, I would be hesitiant to go the motherhood route. Selfish maybe. Just my choice. Then there are the women who have already raised their kids and want to live more for themselves, finally. It is a dilemma. I would say that if an OW/YM relationship looks like it might become long-term, adoption could be something that is seriously discussed. Depending on the consensus between the two and the willingness to raise a non-biological child, it could really add a wonderful dimension to the relationship. Peace, Dreamer

There are kids all around the world that need to be adopted and be part of a family. It takes a very open heart to do that.

Larissa, Ok, ok...lol...I take myself too seriously alot of the time and need to lighten up. I have a crusader mentality and if you are familiar with Chinese astrology, I am a metal Tiger which confers a warrior-like persona and so I tend to be primed for battle much of the time and sometimes maybe enjoy these clashes a little more than I should. As for the younguns...I mentioned on another blog a delectable Austrian I had a relationship with. He spoke little English so it was wonderfully challenging to learn how to communicate. Of course, we had no problem with the non-verbal aspect. He was fun, adoring, smart, sexy, my dog worshipped him...lol..and he had the most beautiful turquoise eyes. Oh, and he was about 6'5" so I felt dainty, at 5'8", next to him. He was very special. Where in Europe are you from, BTW? Tell us about your younguns, L...;-) Peace, Dreamer

Ms. HTD Gosh, how did I ignore you?..I'm not on this thing all the time..just in the middle of the night. It is of value that you have pointed out that this cyber play includes people of "flesh and blood"...yes, I had forgotten. Yes, I have been insensitive..yes, I should be punished...and yes, I adore VDS...ok ok ok...I can't answer the other blog because it is 3 AM and I am brain dead, but will say that Europeans ram into each other for fun..it is a cultural peculiarity..It is amazing to me how seriously you take me; I don't even take myself seriously...it is so hard to hurt my feelings, so I can be insensitive to others. Humor is culturally specific..not an excuse..it is a fact.. That's it..no more...now lets talk about the young uns and babies....I can't ..I pooped myself out..nighty night

Laariss, I won't preach..only point out that this is a prime example of what I've been saying. I come here in a positive, complimentary way, address you specifically and all you can do is kiss up to one of your "chosen ones" and very pointedly ignore me. If I cared, it would be offensive. Just illustrates how exclusionary you are. Peace, Dreamer

Nice thread Larissa, There are younger guys out there who don't want children. I've met quite a few, surprisingly. There are also men in their 40's and 50's who are still very youthful and have no kids, nor do they want them. They're out there and I bet there's alot of them here on Agematch too. Peace, Dreamer
