I am relatively new on this web site. This is the first time that I am reading some of the blogs here. It's sad to read that alot of the men here either don't post pictures or disappear when it comes to making something real. I have been an outspoken advocate for the younger man/older woman relationships for years! Long before these types of relationships became novel. For the past 14 yrs since my divorce, I have ONLY dated younger men. I did not intentionally start out that way, just happened that way. The first younger man that I dated was 25 and I was 37. I thought he was older and he thought I was younger. I have always only been 'hit on' by younger men. I had to finally come to the conclusion that if I wanted to date, I better open up my life to it's possibility. Now, I honestly don't think I could date a man my age or older. I still don't look my age and even though I am a professional, I don't act my age. I am outgoing, warm and fun. It distresses me that many think that these types of relationships are only sexual, when from my experience, that has not been the case. I have researched this topic for quite some time and personally find it very offensive that the older woman is referred to and compared to as a cougar. I am pleased to see that over the last few years, these types of relationships are becoming more and more acceptable, slow but sure. Note to the younger man here, you want to get with us, don't play games. You are attracted to our maturity and experience, well, what comes along with that is a woman who is confident enough to tell you, "we like younger men, but we don't like to play the usual crappy internet or dating games"...you want us to take you serious...then play it serious.

Most single guys lose their virginity before they are 21.Well I was very shy and didnt lose mine until I was 29.Next positive quote-When I was 23 I was lucky to meet two older women within 4 months of each other.1984 October on a Thursday night Bowling league She was about 35 to my 22;the next January I met a 32 y.o. single mother from a carryout pizza order when it was needed for youngsters who call in ;Her sister sold AVON and must have told her about me.Now that I am 46 I am much more mature and experienced and sexually attracted to older women. The women who were friends of my Mom during my teenage years I would LOVE to date nowadays.

i totally agree, i hate the term cougar. its like younger guys sometimes think that since we are older women, we are desperate and have to "hunt" for someone to love or have a relationship with. and they believe that if they "bag a cougar" in bed, that they have bragging rites. well, this gurl doesnt have to "hunt" for men, that has never been an issue, lol. and i am certainly NOT desperate. so to all you women out there, enjoy u. enjoy each day, u never get it back. and to all u younger men who think that, well its time u grew up and saw what older woman really have to offer... u might just decide that its what you have been waiting for all your life.

Older women with younger men just makes logical sense if you're looking for a lifemate...even a playmate for that matter. But let's stick with the first scenario. Women tend to outlive men by an average of 7 years. If you married an older man, in your senior years, you are more likely to outlive him and be alone and if you don't like living alone then, you're back out looking for another partner. But...if you chose someone younger than you, you'd have a far greater likelihood of living to near the same age...all things being relatively equal in health. So, it just makes logical sense for a woman to marry a younger man. Now, when it comes to sexuality...I don't think I need to comment on why it's better for an older woman to have a younger man...I think both sexes understand that without comment. LOL

I really don't find the term "Cougar" offensive. I look at the character of the animal. They go after what they want, sure of herself, a nuturing soul, good mother, and when threatened are very dangerous. I think they are good character traits. Plus you meantioned about meeting anyone from here. So far the most communications I have had with anyone is several emails.

Thanks everyone! Gio very interesting pic. I like! Sort of like Josey and the Pussy Cats LOL :) I do wonder though how many people on here do meet face to face. So far, I have talked to several guys through im and only 1 guy so far on the phone. All seem to be nice and interesting. The other issue is that many seem so far away from my geographical area. :(
