My ideal first date is relaxed and gives us a chance to actually get to know each other. Meeting for coffee, a drink, or dinner at a place where we can talk without shouting over the music is perfect. If we're enjoying ourselves, maybe we take a walk, browse a bookstore, check out a local market, or catch some live music afterward. I'm much more interested in genuine conversation and seeing if we click than trying to impress someone with an over-the-top evening.
