Well it's like trainspotting but without the trains and the Anoraks. Normally you can spot a scammer by their first or second email. Their emails normally contain KEY WORDS for you to pick up on as they are coppied and pasted to you as they normallty aren't the brightest of souls. Infact your dog probably has more intelligence than the average scammer.
Now I'm not going to say what those key words are obviously, and you should NEVER tell a scammer were they went wrong when contacting you. Though the scammer isn't very bright infact they are as thick as mince, they will eventually over time fix their mistakes, providing they can actually spell.
Never give anybody money, not unless you're actually in a physical relationship with them not an internet relationship, and you've been sleeping with them for at least 6 months and you know where they live and you know were their ancestors are buried so you can dig them up and leave their rotting corpses on their doorstep should they decide not to pay you back.
Too Much? Naaaahhhh!!!
So if you find a SCAMMER, you can also name and shame them here! Then report them.
