The symphony concert is a good way to see how cultured a man is, not just that he knows when to applaud and what to listen for in the music, but that he can exercise patience and come up with insightful commentary on what he has heard.

Talking and walking and then maybe a meal. It doesn't really matter.

Something lite to eat or cocktails at a place of your choosing and maybe a movie and we will just let it evolve from there.

Sights, museums, going out for sweets, sushi, they all sound fun. Anything casual and comfortable. Or, if you want some excitement we can meet at Busch Gardens and ride roller coasters all day. I'm not into the dance club scene or any place where it's impossible to have a fun conversation.

My favorite location is St. Louis Cardinal stadium, but, it is too far for a first date. So, I would enjoy taking you to a play in Bowling Green, Nashville, or Louisville after a great dinner.

I believe a good date is less about the actual event itself and its location and more about the comfort level of the two people. If one of the two, can be creative enough to come up with a way to lighten the mood and relax the couple, they should be starting off on the right foot and have a much better chance of enjoying themselves. I prefer laughter to loosen the mood, I often take first dates to a comedy club.

My first date would be to go to a nice restaurant for dinner and good conversation. If we had made a connection before ever meeting would then either go to a play at the local theaters or possibly go to listen to some music or dancing.

I am new to online dating, and never thought I would venture this route, to discover that special someone. I think I would like to do an Artist's Date with someone......do something we both have always wanted to do and never done, like take a guitar lesson, or something else original. Perhaps go learn something about the different artists, which I admit I don't know too much about, except I know for certain I like Van Gogh. I am also up for suggestions from my date.
