I find a casual dinner/drinks date to be the best to get to know someone. Nice steakhouse or seafood restaurant are my go to.

I’d love a first date that starts with dinner at a nice restaurant where we can actually talk and get to know each other without feeling rushed. Afterward, a walk by the water or through a beautiful downtown area would be perfect, just enjoying the conversation, sharing stories, and seeing if there’s a genuine connection. Nothing overly complicated, just good company, great conversation, and a memorable evening together.

I’m of the mindset that a first date should be a dinner together. I care about manners and how service-industry workers are treated, so I’d like the opportunity to see those characteristics upfront. No ONS please. We dress nicely, I pick you up or arrange a pickup for you. We meet, have a thoughtful conversation without staring into a phone all night. After a wonderful meal, we continue our conversation or end the night, depending on the vibe. No presumptions.
