I tend to be a bit traditional, so it would start with a nice bouquet of flowers. A first date just doesn't feel right without it.

How about a nice long conversation over a good meal followed by a great show or movie. First dates are more about spending time together and getting to know each other than they are about where you are or what you do.

I think we should meet in a beautiful, public place - like the Lakefront on the Riverfront or maybe The Four Columns on St. Charles. It should be relaxing so that we may be relaxed and comfortable to be our true selves. If we find that we have a lot in common and wish to pursue our date further, we should agree on an activity that we help us bond - like see live theater, a show, have dinner, hear live music, explore a part of the city together... etc.

Suprise me. I love intelligent conversation by a fireplace and there is a special place I am sure near here that has just that. I love Mexican foor and Prime Rib and yeah I love healthy food but not as much as I like the former. I love chocolate too. It has to be dark though. I do not have a car anymore. Driving in Fresno is my least favorite thing to do. Right now I am renting my home out in Alabama and I am living with my daughter and her husband. I am a native of California but I lived in the South by myself for about 15 years. It was nice to come home. Everybody is related in the state of Alabama so that was a big adjustment for me. If you want our first date can be for coffee I am not fussy. Bring your sense of humor please.
