I believe that in order to truly meet the person, you have to go in an environment where you can be yourself. In the past, I like to go mini golfing, bowling, or just plain walking and talking in the park or the beach. Plus it's always fun to throw a frisbee but, just be warned I'm not the best target-master. :)
