I like to keep first dates simple and allow time to get to know each other so walks/hikes are great though I do not mind meeting for coffee or a meal.

The best first dates are the ones where we can chat and get to know each other, and not just sit next to each other in silence in a movie theater. I'm personally a fan of walking along the DC riverfronts or near the monuments at night. It's all so beautifully lit. Museums, exhibitions, and daytime picnics in parks are also great first dates!

Sure, anyone can do dinner and movie, but why not something fun, too? Going for a hike, a festival, skydiving, getting a tattoo (okay, maybe not...but you get my point)? Imaginations are best when used!

When I go for a first date I want it to go some where to chat and get to know each other maybe in a peaceful place like in a park or a car ride

If we have chemistry, we could do anything and have fun. We could hike a trail, or shop at the mall. Meet at a coffee house or sit on some empty bleachers. Build a fire and watch it burn.

Welll we would both be nerous at the start so I wouldn't think that getting a coffee at Starbuck's would be a good idea.
I would start with a nice drive dowul the coast, stopping for lunch, many go down to Dana Point.
Then see how the date is going for the two of us.
