We could go dancing, take a long walk along the beach under the stars, sip a cold drink and watch people or if we hit it off tremendously well.....go home lock the doors and make love.

Riding side-by-side, walking our horses in an ankle-deep clear stream, pulling up under a nice shade tree on the bank, and chilling out getting to know a little about each other. On our way home, hard-ride the horses for a couple minutes, and walk 'em on in to the stables.
A BBQ at sundown, followed by either going dancing, or just lazing out watching a decent movie.

First dates, in my mind, are all about talking with the slightest of distractions to help bridge the sometimes awkward nervousness. Coffee, dinner, drinks, or a walk amidst an interesting environment would be ideal.

I see a first date as a getting to know you date. It needs to be somewhere out of the way and quite so that you can have an honest conversation without all the distractions from others around. Somewhere that let's you say what you want without others listening in and judging your conversations.

we start off with some fine dining at Simms Steakhouse sitting on the balcony, sipping wine talking and eating, while enjoying the beautiful view of downtown Denver Then we are headed off to the Rocks to see one of our favorite bands play live . After the show is over we go to Lookout Mtn. and talk until we see the sunrise coming over the horizon. Then I bring you home, give you a hug, and tell you good night and sweet dreams.

My idea of a romantic first date would be driving to a wonderfully beautiful village by the sea, where we would to stay in a romantic hotel, wine and dine ourselves and take long walks on the beach. I think my idea of a perfect date would involve me, you and a long, drawn-out moment where we don't want to say good night……

The first date is all about getting to know each other. The single most important way to do that is through conversation. The best places for conversation are quiet places. Parks, cafes, etc. are all good places for that to happen.

Let's meet at Sanibel Harbour Yacht Club, have some lunch and spend the day cruising up to North Captiva Island. After we anchor, we can spend the afternoon getting to know each other, listen to some tunes or I can play my guitar for you. We can enjoy some cocktails and snacks, cool off with a swim and decide if we want to stay out to watch the sunset, or head to Doc Fords to catch dinner and watch some live music. We'll cruise slowly back to the yacht club, but not before we stop to watch the light from the Sanibel Lighthouse dance on the shimmering water. How's that for a first date?
