Can think of many but really depends upon the woman that I am dating. So..first date with some local would be at the beach here in MD ...stroll and get to know each other with a steaming hot cup of coffee from "Rise up Coffee" and followed by drinks at Market Street Inn and dinner at Sosaa's in Easton....

I believe a public meeting place is appropriate at first, then maybe a strol along the beach or water front just visiting and getting to know one another to see where it is going if all is okay find a pub for a drink and snacks continueing to visit and see if the sparks are there then just let the chemistry take over.

Every lady want's her dreams to come true. Courting, flowers, and candy are always special. A beautiful setting at a restaurant that has a wonderful selection of a fine Bordeaux wine is always nice. Being able to relax with one another is a great start for good conversation about what our true search for love is all about.

First date could quite easily be a cruise on the river, dinner by the fire then sitting and chatting by the warm glow with some good music and wine. Then who knows....? But a day trip to Venice appeals to me...maybe on the second one.

Dinner and bowling for sure. No movie on the first date. How do you get to know someone while sitting in the dark and not able to dark. Are a pinic in the park on a blanket.

Definately no meeting at a bar. It will be refresing to meet someone for a cuppa or lunch or if all else fails, dinner at a resataurant. keeping it simple to start with.

I hate the formality of first dates-why does it have to be the movies or a bloody dinner? The communication bit is important, lots of talking so it needs to be quiet-maybe somewhere outside like the beach so I'm open to ideas!
