I'm a pretty laid back person, I like somewhere quiet where I can be alone or nearly alone with my date. I like to get to know people, so somewhere where we can talk easily, and outdoors is always a plus :)

Walk and talk or a driving tour around town as you get more into each other. A nice light snack at a quaint little place sets the mood, you get your nibble, now take that bite. Hold their hand, hug them, breath them in and follow your impulse. You both have already made the choice to meet, now get to know them. Go some place you both like and share the adventure.

Since my hometown is Charlotte, NC I would say that my idea of a great date would be to walk around downtown- it's such a beautiful place and it would be fun to just walk around and take in the sights and architecture. It's a good opportunity to talk and really learn about the other person. Afterwards we could have dinner and maybe go to a lounge to listen to some live music.

First Date ... Ok then I guess you would call me and ask me to go for a walk down at the beach. We would take a pick-nick and watch the boats. We would enjoy each other's company very much and plan to see each other that evening and next day. We make it up as we go and have something special between us. Time passes quickly. You are fun and easy to talk to.
