My idea for a first date would be to shop garage sales and thrift stores to find things to use in craft projects. Following up with a nice lunch and planning fun things to do.

I love the beach. A good date idea would be to take me to the beach, slather me up in sunscreen and build a sand castle or play in the waves. A picnic lunch would be the perfect match to the good day.

To me, it always seems to be very dependant on the personalities of those involved. I'm open to just about anything, but I'll admit that drinks and a walk along a waterfront has always been a fav of mine. ;)

We meet at the Fair where we can introduce each other and sit down to hear the music of the band that is playing near the refreshment area and to snack and talk about what we may have in common. We can enjoy popcorn and a cold beer or sausage & peppers with fresh squeezed lemonade. It is exciting and enjoyable because so many people are around and having a fun time and neither of us is intimidated or worried about having to guess what to say or do. Plenty of options to choose from this time of year.......

You would travel to stay with me for the weekend. We would go horeseback riding or mudding with atv.

I think an excellent first date would be to get together and strip the finish off of our old wood floors. Tools and caustic chemicals will be provided. Afterwards, there is a fine scottish ethnic food restaurant down the block where we could enjoy some unique burgers and fries.
Maybe you have other, better ideas, if so, please let me know. Just to show you how fair I am, I'm willing to mud wrestle you for it.

Go to the Grove, Farmers Market in the early afternoon. Mill around at the shops and get to know each other a little bit. If inspired, stop in a nice restaurant for a quiet meal.. see where the afternoon has in store..
