First impressions are very important. They determine if there is chemistry although i will not go out of my way to impress anyone by the location we chose to meet at, ill ask her to decide. It gives me an understanding of her values. I can enjoy a great dinner as much as a place to sit and drink water or at a hot dog stand.

For a first date, I would suggest doing something we both enjoy, so we would both be comfortable in that environment and could be ourselves. And then, as the friendship/relationship grows, I would be happy to plan (mutually or on my own as a surprise) more romantic dates.
