Most living people have lame ideas about first dates. You can't expect to sit down in front of someone over coffee or dinner and not feel awkward. At least I can't. It's got to be something fun by itself. I want my date to have fun so she'll associate that fun with me. Duh. Lots of laughter or amazement. Without borrowing someones brains I can come up with something better. Maybe you're a big gamer. I'd look for somekind of over-the-top VR experience for our date. Does it exist? That's what google is for. Maybe you like tulips. Lets go find a tulip festival. Maybe you'd like a scenic airial tour of San Francisco. Karaoke, a ball game, renting an exotic car and driving to loud music, a day at the aquarium, whale watching, table tennis…

I'm much more flexible than traditional, so we can do whatever. I like interesting restaurants and new experiences, I'm as open to goofy nerdy frivolities as I am to high culture, and I'm almost impossible to bore. If you have no suggestions that appeal to me, I'll find us something amazing.
