I normally allow l the woman to plan the first couple of dates. That way i know we are going and doing what she likes to do. Most women appreciate that. It puts most women at ease. Women are more likely to open up and be more relaxed aswell as more communicative when they are comfortable doing what they like to do.

I think its normally best that a first date consist of of coffee or a drink. However, for me it can be a modest dinner because everyone eats in the evenings anway, and that can help extend the first encounter by an hour or more so that people can take a second or even a third think. This doesnt sound too romantic on my part, but we are really talking about blind dates here.

I would ask where you would care to meet. Then arrive with a bouquet of flowers for you then let you take it from there as it is important for me that you feel comfortable and get to know who you are. Then let the lady decide from there as to how long the evening will last!
