My first date idea is simple. Meet at a public place for coffee or a drink. No expectations and take it from there.

I feel the initial get together should either be 'your' choice, or a joint decision. It matters not much to me whether you want to meet for coffee, a drink, dinner, go for a walk, etc. It's not necessarily a prerequisite, but I feel we should talk on the phone and discuss our options for our "icebreaker".

A Date could intail a ride on Soyus to the International Space Station for dinner while observing Andromeda.........no wait, just kidding. I know! I like to keep the first date simple to be able to get to know one another better. Something such as a drive through the mountains, maybe to Estes Park or Rocky Mountain National Park, dinner at a nice restaurant, some live music, a glass of wine, good conversation.

My first date, if here in my town, would be at my favorite restaurant, Lawry's Prime Rib. The prime rib melts in your mouth and I love to go there even just to treat myself ... so I would love to share the best with someone I am trying to impress. It's where I take friends.
