Something casual and in a mutually comfortable environment. Coffee or a walk in the park works for me. I am somewhat of a coffee snob so I prefer fresh ground coffee from a local roastery when available.

Check out a museum or art gallery, then check out some shops, and take a walk to take in the scenery. Settle down at a cafe, and have some food and a few drinks and get into some stimulating conversations, and possibly check out a musician or band. Stay at a nice hotel and watch a movie with more drinks., and see what magic happens.

I love sharing a delicious meal, and having intriguing conversations. So a quiet table in a restaurant with great food, and candles with a glass of wine is definitely a perfect first date. I am very open, honest, and unafraid to be transparent from the very beginning. I am not going to waste any time for either of us if there isn't an initial attraction. I'm not exclusively meaning physical attraction. I am far beyond choosing a partner for such superficial reasons. Granted, there must be physical attraction. But loyalty, dedication, and great sense of humor are much more enticing than a perfect body.

I pick this place because my truck is parked here each week. Sit down. Meet in a public setting. Have a nice meal together and see what sticks. Then of course, we eat ice cream. Maybe even walk and see the pretty lights.

We find a movie that we both want to see at the drive in theater in Strasburg, recline back in the rear of my Hearse, wrapped in blankets, drinking raspberry hot chocolate (or whatever) and enjoy the movie and each other's company.

Just someplace where we can sit and I can listen to your voice. I'll make a few jokes and try to touch your hand. Listen, I want to touch you if i'm on a date with you. Either you feel each other on the first date or there will be no second date. On a first date, I want here to wear the tightest dress she has. I want to know, whats mine. I want to take possesion of whats mine. The tighter the better. You have to have ass and hips. Sorry, but thats a requirement. No ass or hips don't apply.

I think a first meeting - call it a pre-date, unless you've really gotten to know each other beforehand - is great to do in the bookstore cafe or a coffee shop in general. If the weather is nice sitting outside and just getting to know one another in a safe, neutral environment is nice.
If you've already gotten to know one another well over text/voice, especially in an intimate way, then I say just go for it and meet somewhere in a hotel and live life :) You can always go out to dinner, have drinks, go on a walk...whatever you'd do on a normal date...but you know in the back of your mind that the bed is waiting. Good times :) This of course assumes everything clicks and everyone is comfy with it all, but when it happens it's a wonderful thing.
