As much as I'd enjoy a drink or two later, I think meeting at Starbucks, or having lunch together during the day makes for a better opportunity to figure out whether the chemistry is there, versus the alcohol speaking for one another. Got chemistry (lol), then maybe drinks later. :)

I haven't been on a date in a long time, so anywhere we can chat, in peace, would be fine.
I don't do the pub/club scene, and prefer to be able to talk to my "date" than have to scream at the top of my lungs.
Even meeting somewhere we can both participate in something together would be fine, such as a cycle ride, falconry lesson, or anything else that brings us together in a mutual interest.
