I am such a firm believer in personal contacts, that I think first meetings should be in a neutral place with others around, such as a restaurant, etc. It should also be a "get acquainted" type meeting, with no strings attached on either person. Let the cards fall where they may. If there is no spark, the two can decide then if there should be another meeting.
