A nice quiet dinner out, I don't drink but do not care if my date does. Just spend some time together talking and getting to know each other. I can pretty much tell in the first few minutes if it is going to work out or not.

bad back or twisted ankle if things are going sour. If it feels perfect, get a little tired, leave
and go for a quite place of liesure and share special moments in life or show snapshots
of family.

This a tricky on! It depends on what the young lady wants to do realy. Probably meet for a drink then if we get on, a meal. I'm not made of money so a restaurant not in a hotel. Then see how we get on and then go with the flow and see where it leads- maybe go to a hotel, my place or hers to round of the night - maybe, who knows. I would have a gift for her when we first meet. But until I have spoken to her I do not know. I just know i'll be nervous and have butterflies and she probably will to.

For a first date, I prefer lunch or a coffee date so that we can get to know each other. No sense in spending a lot of time together if it's not right. Also, I prefer a few emails and phone conversations before deciding to meet. That's only fair for both of us.
