My ideal first date would be going out to a casual dinner. So we can talk and to get to no each other. After dinner go and have coffee.

My 1st date with Yu , will Start with a ( bee's wax ) Candle lite dinner ,
Under Palm Tree's . Our Chef will send out a platter of crabs eggs ,
& Bizonn , with 80 year ol' wine, all the way from Eygipt ! ( Iv Only
had 11 beer ! ) I had to toast a Beautifull Lady ! Thats Yu ; - )
I tried inviting John Candy, as our Matre' D , but, he was busy !

I live in Marietta, GA. No chance for walking on the beach on the first date. I'd rather meet for coffee first and go from there. Going out to dinner as the initial meet has not been effective for me. Found too many women only want to get a free meal and not interested in getting to know me. Better over a cup of coffee to determine if there will be a second meeting, aka date.

For a first date I like the idea of going to a quiet restaurant. Not only can you share a conversation and good food, but you have eye contact and you can linger over coffee.

I hope the first date involves the beach! I am pretty easy to please as all I need is good company, water nearby, the sun , sand followed by a great meal and lots of interesting conversations.
I still have all my Harley gear so that is another option if you are game?
Dancing in the moonlight is a definite YES!
Oh and I can handle the flowers and the candle light so do not hesitate there!

Get together for a nice lunch at an up-scale eatery, somewhere where conversations can flow freely, get to know each other. After lunch, take a drive in the country, maybe stop in at a golf course, hit some balls, have a cold drink. Later stop in at a live music venue, enjoy some blues or folk music, then go to a small restaurant for an intimate dinner, meal and drinks, later stop in at my place for a nightcap, music, conversation.

The first date should be in a setting where both are completely at ease. It should be at a place where others are present but they could still enjoy privacy, such as a public park, or maybe in a restaurant over coffee, where few people are present. I feel that the first date should be as informal as possible, that the two should allow each other to relax and be themselves. The situation will be tense enough at the beginning to have to worry about formalities. Each will be meeting someone who just might be their future life partner, and the situation should be treated as a relaxing, enjoyable, yet sacred event.
