My first date would totally be one of the following, depending on what my person likes more:
- Star gazing at the park or an observatory
- Tarot/psychic reading together then dinner after
- Enjoying a picnic at the beach
- Mini road trip to various scenery/shopping destinations
- Old car show together

2 ideas:
Option 1: We go to the Institute around 3, and I show you my favorite Rembrandt, Monet, and Picasso pieces. They close at 5 (or all day on Mondays,) so dinner afterwards would work. If you're into nightlife, let's go explore afterwards. I know of a couple fun places to go, but I'd also be down to let you lead if you have a favorite place of entertainment.
Option 2: Go to Costco, buy a ton of ingredients for a charcuterie board, pack all of it into tupperware, and then go give the packed meals away to the homeless encampments in downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis. When we're finished, we donate any leftovers to Catholic Charities Dorothy Day Center, order food for ourselves from Cecil's Deli (they specifically employ immigrants) or a food truck, and have a candlelight picnic on Lake Harriet. Picnic dinner on a lake / ocean with fine wine, a little fireworks to pop on the boat with my date after we finish eating, followed by deep, meaningful conversations to know each other on a more personal, intimate level. Hopefully we end that dat with smiles and a few first date kisses.
