I want to spend time in a relaxed atmosphere where we can have good food but the quality of the food isn't the reason for our date. Nice to take a walk after lunch in a pleasant area of your city which gives us a chance to see another aspect of each other.

I think an Ideal first date is to meet for coffee and or drinks/food to get a chance to talk and laugh. Maybe an art museum - something relaxed so we can get a feel for each other. I know a great pub that makes you feel comfy and cosy even on a cold winter's night.
