My first date would be to meet for drinks at a casual setting. Someplace quiet but where quite a few people meet. I would sit close enough to be able to hear everything in the conversation as well as being able to see into the eyes of my date. I believe the eyes are the window to the soul. I can tell a lot about a person from their eyes. We would have a drink or two with maybe an appetizer and get to know each other. The manner in which we communicated/flirted would set the tone to determine if there was true attraction and if there would be a second date.
