my idea of a first date is to meet for coffee, wine, drinks, lunch or dinner in a quiet place so that I can get to know you and what you're looking for and to see if we are compatible. Up front, I want you to know, that I am a firm disbeliever of chemistry! I think the word is misused and it's not the chemistry that makes or breaks a relationship but the feeling and understanding of one another and the matching of the goals that we are both looking for for the rest of our lives.

Maybe go for a snack/tapas somewhere we both like. If we're OK go for a drive to somewhere different and have a nice meal together. Sit and watch the waves having an ice cream!!
