First date
It is everyone’s’ hope that the first date creates a positive impression to the friend; however, this was not the case during my first date since I remember it with bitter and sweet memories. I curse to remember that day since it almost made me lose my self esteem on the other hand, it was a good experience since I learnt a lot. Nevertheless, after consistent guidance by my date, I overcame the awful feeling. My friend Tiffany came home on a Saturday afternoon requesting me for a date. After two hours of persuasion, she eventually convinced me and I went to refresh myself and dress.
I did not have a brother to look up to and I took almost two hours to prepare myself. I was confused between which trouser, shirt, vest and shoes to ware. After soul searching, I was convinced that I was smart and we move out. Being teenagers, I hoped we could go for a dance or movie and of course dinner. Contrary to my school to thought, Tiffany had a different idea; she had planned that we would go for a photo shoot and later go for walk in the park and later visit her mother at home. After disagreeing, we made an accord that I would follow her plan since it was her proposal that we go for a date.

I enjoy the food and wine scene. I prefer dinner in a restaurant for first date because it gives us a chance to converse. We can learn a lot about each other. For instance, I have pretty good manners, and am gentlemanly and considerate. You will see all of that as we dine together. It gives you a chance to shine a bit! You can wear a stylish outfit. You might or might not like cooking yourself, and dining serves as a springboard to learn about that as well.

The first date should be lite and fun, perhaps a walk on the beach after some tasty shrimp and beer or wine and then a visit to a lighthouse. During which we find out what foods appeal to each other (among other things) and decide together on a type of place to have dinner. Want to join me?

As the weather here in Texas is so nice this last few days before Christmas, I can think of nothing better than a motorcycle ride. A ride West to the top of the Hill Country for lunch. On the way back to Ft.Worth do a brief run around the lake stopping at maybe one or two of the hotter spots on the lake and then ending up in one of the many spots in the DFW for some live music!!!!
